Online Safety

'I have the right to be safe and healthy' is one of our six Sparkly Rights and here at The Brook we see safeguarding as one of most important jobs.

All of our staff are trained each year using the DFE's Statutory guidance for schools and colleges, 'Keeping Children Safe in Education September 2016'.  This includes information related to PREVENT anti radicalisation, Child Sexual Exploitation, Female Genital Mutilation, Children Missing in Education and online safety.  We also use West Sussex's guidance on Safeguarding and Child Protection. 

As a school we feel that online safety is something that parents should also be aware of so we have made this page to include helpful sites for parental guidance
