After School Clubs

We offer a range of extra curricular activities throughout the school year.  If you would like to enrol your child on any of our activities then please contact the office by e-mail at office@brook.w-sussex.sch.uk or by telephone on 01293 886521.  Or you could just pop in. 

Mondays

Drum Up Values - Drumming Club ( 3:00pm - 4:10pm)
This is run by Daniel Tulley who is a qualified Teacher/life skills coach and musician. Children will not only get to play drums from around the world, learn how to use their bodies like a drum kit, ‘beatbox’, ‘loop’, record electronic music and sing but also explore important life skills that will help them work with others and learn more effectively.  His work is all based upon Unicef’s Rights for every child.

Tuesdays

Spanish
Our Spanish classes are taught by Jose Gomez.  There are two sessions.  The first session is from 3.05 to 3.35pm and the second session is from 3.35 to 4.05pm.  For those children staying for the second session, (where parents may not want to pick them up at 3.00pm and drop them back at 3.35pm) we offer a creche facility at school whilst they wait.  We charge 50p per child per week.  For French and Spanish lessons, pleace contact Ruth Phibbs directly via e-mail at thephibbs@hotmail.com or telephone 01444 457309. This is open to all children.

Wednesdays

French (Lunchtime 12:30-1:00pm)
Our French class is taught by Ruth Phibbs.  It runs for half an hour from 12.30 to 1.00pm.  For French and Spanish lessons, pleace contact Ruth Phibbs directly via e-mail at thephibbs@hotmail.com or telephone 01444 457309.

Thursdays

Yoga Bugs (3:00 - 4:00pm)
Yoga Bugs is taught by Tracey Williams and is an imaginative, dynamic and inspired way of bringing the benefits of yoga to children. Traditional yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques are taught through exciting story adventure that capture the children's imagination whilst enabling them to enjoy the beneficial practice of Yoga. The sessions are open for Year 1 and 2 only.

Fridays

Chelsea Football Club (3:15 - 4:15pm)
This is run by experienced football coaches and runs from 3.15 to 4.15pm.  The children cover a range of football based activities. 

Please note that if clubs are over subscribed, children will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis.  Any children on the waiting list will automatically be put first on the next series of clubs. 

All clubs cost around £5.
