Welcome to Year 2
Hello and welcome to Year 2!! We are the Year 2 teachers - Sara Couch, Charlotte Stevens and Hannah Witham. We love teaching in Year 2 as it is soooo much fun! Also in the Year 2 team is Anne Mackenzie, Denise Barras, Amanda Meadows and Marion Waterman and they work with all the children in Badger class and Squirrel class. During our learning journey we teach many interesting topics, you can have a look at some examples of our work on this website. We have tried to choose exciting topics to learn about and we ALWAYS keep learning FUN! |
We welcome parents into the classrooms to help support learning as parent helpers. It is lovely to have an extra pair of hands to help out! As year 2 are the oldest children in our school they take the lead role in many school events, such as the school Christmas production and doing a special dance in the Hawth our local theatre. We send home Year 2 update every two weeks to help keep parents informed of what is going on throughout our busy year.
