Meet our Teaching Assistants

Hello, my name is Lynne Badman and I work in Reception Ducklings Class.  I have worked at The Brook School since the school opened in September 1999.

I love helping the children to settle in when they start school and teaching them new skills. Its very gratifying to watch them progress through their first year at school and become confident independent children.

I enjoy walking, going to the cinema and spending time with my family.

Hello, my name is Maria O'Keefe and I am a Teaching Assistant in Reception Gosling Class. I have been working at The Brook since September 1999 when the school first opened in varying roles.

I enjoy being a teaching assistant and supporting the teachers develop the children's learning.

I enjoy all sports and love football especially when Liverpool FC are playing! I have two boys both in their teens and am married to a fireman.

I have two girls who attend Oriel High School. I enjoy visiting National Trust properties and country walks with my family.

I am Tracy Gidman and I am a Teaching Assistant in Year 1 Kingfisher Class.

I started at The Brook as a parent helper and became a member of staff in 2004.  I am a Forest School Leader.

I love animals and have a cat and two guinea pigs.

I worked in a bank for many years before joining The Brook and as well as animals I love the outdoors, exercise and reading.

My favourite foods are pasta and crumble!

Hello, my name is Anne Mackenzie. I work as a Teaching Assistant in Year 2 Squirrel Class. I have been at the Brook since September 2000 and enjoy the job very much. The Brook is such a happy school for children.

My time away from school is kept very busy with family life, and for relaxation I like to go for long walks with my crazy dog Jess!

Hello, I am Marion Waterman and I am Teaching Assistant in Year 2 Foxes Class. I started working here in September 1999 when the school first opened and before that worked at Maidenbower Infant School.

I really enjoy getting the opportunity to see the children progress through the school.

Now that I have worked here for so long I feel like the school is my second family.
